Hi, I'm Megann Wolter a ceramics, digital and mixed media artist.  Being the youngest of 5 siblings I grew up being read to and hearing all sorts of stories from my family. This lead to a fascination in story telling and myth. ​My family is very artistically inclined, singing, drawing etc. I grew up drawing as a hobby but it wasn't until during my freshman year of college that I decided that I wanted to pursue it as something more than that.

A large portion of my work takes a look at how stories change over time, and which stories are chosen to be passed onto future generations. I typically like to work with mid to high fire stoneware clays making pieces that have a decorative elements to them while also still being able to be useful in everyday life.
